Textured paint ceiling
Giving a texture to your ceiling injects a new life to otherwise boring ceilings. Therefore, you can choose a wide variety of horizontal, vertical, and other patters, which suits shape, and size of your room. Else, you have an option to add some metals or asbestos to give your ceiling either a smooth or even a rustic look. However, the problem arises whenever you plan to paint these textured ceilings. Obviously textured paint ceiling requires extra effort for painting. On the other hand, there is benefit that you can use both spray as well as roller paint on these ceilings.
Using spray painting for textured ceilings
Though the exact method is still debatable and depends on the individual as to which method is better for textured ceiling painting, you can use any one method as per your convenience.
Using spray paintings has an advantage that you do not have to touch the surface so even if you have a ceiling with some special textures, which is impossible to replace, or it is already loose then also you can cover up the surface without touching it and disturbing it. Spraying the paint using spray guns requires more care for your furniture as well as floor as the paint is more likely to drip than in case of roller method. It is advisable that you start painting the textured wall from the spots, which is most difficult to reach or requires more coverage.

Painting the textured ceilings using rolling paint
Painting the textured ceilings with rolling paints too has many pros and cons. However, again it is a personal decision to choose the method. With rolling paints, it is possible for you to complete the main areas first and then slowly moving towards the lesser important sections. Yet remember to finish the corners of the ceiling with small brush for completion.
